I especially like the author's final paragraph about "getting caught red handed."

now, calls for better organization, or just organization period, have often been brought up on this site, by those whose lives have been affected by this cult.
I think you can buy sticky backed printer paper for regular printers
True. That should be very do-able too, I'd think. Even less expensive than ordering a batch of 20 from Zazzle.
@Mrquik: Yeah, it doesn't take much to get a person to see the light, once that seed is planted.

I 'designed' a coffee mug too. Took me all of 5 minutes. My source image is off the internet. I had to increase it's size, so the final product might come out slightly pixelated. It'd look better with an original, larger 'JWfacts.com' logo. Maybe if someone knows the folks who run that website, they can obtain a quality rendering of that logo. I suppose one could also make said logo from scratch. Here's my 'mugshot:'
Again, the site is Zazzle.com
There's another site called Cafepress, that offers similar services--do it yourself logos. It's so easy, an out-of-touch GB member could figure it out. Maybe.

"no collections will be taken during this free event.".
Oops...I noticed that this assembly has already passed. Still, it shows up under Google News as a recent story.
I'll keep my eyes and ears out for other JW related news items about upcoming events. Remember the reporter who went from "JW Brochures aren't really that bad," to "JW Brochures are grossly misleading, and they are a chaotic cult?" Without our input, that 'correction' would never have happened. Just sayin.'

Here's yet ANOTHER article, from a somewhat larger newspaper, ya might say. Note, it also claims that "no collections are made." That must be the standard script given to these news reporters, by the Watchtower's public relations department.

Ahem, maybe some of us can elaborate about just how money-hungry the org really is, by posting a comment below the article. If more of us speak up, outside of this forum from time to time, then the better the chances of a curious non-JW to be informed. So many people out there just think it's some slightly odd, but harmless little 'denomination' of Christianity. If they only knew!

...no collections, but we'll take your kids' icecream money, and your valuable things.
alright, so i posted earlier this week about my desire to put together some sort of campaign to target the friends and family that shun us before the regional convention part on shunning.
my goal is to produce a postcard that can be mailed out to those that shun us to contrast shunning and love before it is cemented in their minds this summer.
i want to make them think twice.
Go to Zazzle.com and make decals. They also do cards, T-shirts, coffee mugs, and baseball caps. It's quick, cheap & easy. I 'designed' the decal shown below in about 15 minutes (screenshot from my I-phone). I simply found the JW Facts logo online, uploaded it to their site, and now I've got a stack of convenient JWFacts.com stickers enroute to my mail box.

So easy, even a caveman could do it.

Understood, Talesin.
Btw, my Avatar is from the 'Longest Day.' It's Robert Mitchum.
I'll just say that the JWs are, in my opinion, very militant in their rank structure, their indoctrination, their fear mongering by trying to dehumanize the enemy (mentally diseased apostates), and their demand for unquestioning loyalty. The JWs 'judicial comittee' makes the milItary's UCMJ seem quite reasonable. At least I can get an attorney, plus a little Article 15 punishment won't cause me to be destroyed at Armageddon.
82nd Airborne...Screaming Eagles?? Not by a long shot. Think French Resistance.
Godspeed.
